How to play Stunt Rider

Ride your motorbike to the chequered flag over hills, ramps and gaps. Hold Up, W or Space to accelerate and Down or S to brake. In the air, Left and Right (or A and D) rotate the bike: left for a backflip, right for a frontflip. Touch screens get on-screen buttons. If the rider's head hits the ground or you drop into a gap, the run ends.

There are five levels, each longer and hillier, with wider gaps. Fuel drains as you ride, faster while accelerating; grab green cans to top it up. You score for distance, 500 per full flip, a Big Air bonus for long jumps, 50 per can, and a bonus at each flag that grows with your leftover fuel.

Tips

• ▸Leaning only works in the air, so line the bike up with the slope before you touch down.
• ▸Ease off the gas on downhills. Fuel burns almost five times faster while you accelerate.
• ▸A flip only counts once the bike has turned almost a full circle, so start rotating as soon as you leave a ramp.
• ▸Hit ramps with plenty of speed: the gaps after them get wider on later levels.

How do you do a backflip?

Get airborne off a ramp or crest, then hold Left or A. Once the bike has turned almost a full circle you get 500 points. Holding Right or D does a frontflip for the same score.

Why did I crash?

You crash if the rider's head hits the ground, if you fall into a gap, or if you run out of fuel and stop. One crash ends the run, but you keep everything scored so far.

How many levels are there?

Five. Your score carries over from level to level, and reaching the flag on level 5 completes the game.
