How to play Flappy Jet

Your jet is always falling, and every tap, click or press of Space gives it a short boost upwards. Tap in a steady rhythm to hold your height and steer through the gaps between the green towers scrolling towards you.

You score one point for each pair of towers you pass. Touching a tower or the ground ends the run at once. The top edge of the screen is safe, but the towers reach all the way up, so you cannot fly over them. As your score rises the jet flies faster and the gaps get narrower.

Tips

• ▸Tap lightly and often. Each tap resets your upward speed, so a few quick taps keep you climbing longer than you expect.
• ▸Get to the right height for the next gap while it is still on the far side of the screen, then make small corrections.
• ▸Aim for the middle of each gap, not its lower edge, because the jet drops quickly between taps.
• ▸The gaps stop shrinking at around 30 points and the speed stops rising at around 45, so after that it is all about consistency.

Does Flappy Jet keep getting harder?

Up to a point. Each tower you pass makes the game a little faster and the gaps a little narrower, until both reach a fixed limit.

Which keys can I use to flap?

Space, the up arrow, W, Enter and Z all flap. With a mouse you click, and on a touch screen you tap anywhere on the game.

Is my best score saved?

Yes. Your best score is stored in your browser on this device, so it is still there next time unless you clear your browser data.
